AI & Editorial Policy

We believe in telling it like it is. Here's exactly how CoinPulse AU's news section works, where the content comes from, and what role AI plays.

What you're reading

Articles in our News section are AI-generated summaries of reporting published by third-party crypto news outlets. For each story we pull the headline, body, and source attribution from a public news feed (currently CryptoCompare, which aggregates outlets like CoinDesk, Cointelegraph, The Block, Decrypt and others), then use a large language model to rewrite it as a shorter, Australian-focused summary.

We do not employ journalists. We do not conduct original interviews or independent reporting. Every news article on this site is machine-generated and links back to the original source.

Why we do it this way

Most crypto news is written for a US or global audience. We localise it for Australian readers — adding AUD context, noting ASIC, ATO, and AUSTRAC angles where relevant, and pointing to AU exchanges instead of US ones. AI lets a small team do this at the pace news actually breaks.

What we don't do

  • We don't fabricate quotes, prices, dates, or named sources.
  • We don't publish under fake author names or invented bios.
  • We don't claim "expert review" by people who don't exist.
  • We don't provide financial advice. Nothing on this site is a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any asset.

Limitations

AI models can be wrong. They can miss nuance, misattribute claims, or repeat errors from the source article. We do our best to constrain the model to facts present in the source, but you should treat every article as a starting point — always click through to the original report and verify before acting on anything.

We mark every news article with an "AI summary" label and a clear pointer to the source publisher.

Other content on this site

Live prices, market data, and converters come from CoinGecko's public API and are not AI-generated. See our methodology page for details. Glossary entries in our Learn section are AI-drafted reference definitions, marked accordingly.

Spotted an error?

If an AI-generated summary misrepresents the source article or contains a factual error, please let us know via the contact details on our About page. We'll correct, retract, or remove the article.

Not financial advice

CoinPulse AU is an information service. We are not a licensed financial adviser, broker, or product issuer. Crypto assets are highly volatile and you can lose your entire investment. Speak to a licensed Australian financial adviser before making investment decisions.
